left handed baby??
Nicholas sucks his left hand more and I always presumed that might be his tendancy... My eldest has always been right handed and my DD2 started out using both for everything its only now (she's nearly 4) that she writes mostly with her right hand, but I think she'll be able to multi task better IYKWIM
Charliesangel...I can see where you're coming from but I tend to offer toys diagonally across baby...so from my right hand to his right hand...but he still seems to favour his left hand....as someone said before he tends to have more control of his left hand..?!
Yes i've noticed a few times that ds seems to favour his left hand, and he also kicks mainly with his left leg when he's in his bouncer. Who knows lol
DS seemed to favour his left hand - up until about 18 months, now at 2 1/2 he uses either hand for feeding or drawing, but seems to rely more on the right hand, so from our experience I wouldn't say you can be sure so early on, but who knows!
do you think its to do with us 'righties' always handing things over with our right hands? (therefore baby recieving with the left)

I've 4 children and my 3rd dd who is 5 is left handed and the only one out of the whole family. I noticed from around 6mths that she prefered her left even thought people said it was too early to tell. She even kicks with her left foot.
